buscameby: ..that's a rather auspicious event to have your birthday coincide with this show. Have you checked that date for other years as well? -- it's weird how they played great shows on the same date through the ages.

Ashes, I had several Jerry shows on on around my birthday.
The year I graduated from college 83' the JGB was playing and I didn't even know it till the night before and I didn't have a ticket obviously. I was at a bar with a friend of mine and he reaches in his pocket and throws a ducet accross the table and just says Happy Birthday my friend!
And it was a OUTSTANDING show!
Jerry and the boys surprised me with many unbelievable gifts like that over the years, I swear I couldn't have written my experiences better if I was allowed to.
I will listen to the 76' show and try to give you a better review of the good and not so great recordings.
